The Lord of the Rings

The quintessential piece of fantasy literature has been translated to the Card Game that we all know and love, and we find ourselves able to participate and engage in the events that take place during the War of the Ring and the Quest of the Ringbearer. Here I have chronicled my playthrough of the Saga Campaign, following a tangent timeline asking the question of how would the Lord of the Rings have played out if Gandalf the Grey had not escaped his imprisonment in the Tower of Orthanc.

Read along the narrative of how each game unfolded, starting with the Prologue and finishing at the Epilogue of the Saga, or go through the playthrough reports for a blow-by-blow account of how these results were achieved. Each scenario was played until a win was achieved, even if it was not the most optimal result. The exception is the final scenario, Mount Doom, where the first attempt was taken as the definitive result. I hope you enjoy reading, and that this game brings you as much enjoyment as it has brought me.
